Aurubis, a leading global copper producer and one of Bulgaria’s largest industrial enterprises, is committed to fostering an inclusive and connected workplace. By promoting collaboration and a strong sense of belonging, the company enhances employee well-being, business performance, and innovation. As part of these efforts Aurubis Family Day was organized, an annual initiative that brings together employees and their families. The event featured a mix of entertainment and activities celebrating local culture, history, and nature.

GOALS

  • Game for employees “A Mission Aurubis” – a scavenger hunt type of game for all Aurubis employees, designed to encourage employees to connect in a fun and informal way.
  • Thematic activities throughout the day to engage all guests.
  • Collaboration with local artisans and cultural clubs to promote regional heritage.

RESULTS

  • Over 1,200 attendees, including Aurubis employees, their families, business partners, and municipal representatives.
  • Big part of employees participated in the corporate game, fostering connections and team spirit.
  • Employees gathered in large numbers for Vasil Naydenov’s performance, highlighting the emotional impact of the event.
  • 100+ children and parents enjoyed a meet-and-greet with Dara during her special performance break.
  • 500+ children participated in at least three games and activities across multiple thematic zones.
  • Highly positive feedback from both Aurubis management and employees, reinforcing the success of the initiative.
